In purchasing the program 'Manga Studio 5' recently, I have come to realize how much I don't know when it comes to art, drawing, painting, coloring, shading, and toning.  Being a mainly self-taught artist, I feel I have missed out or accidently skipped over very fundemental elements and techniques when it comes to art.  I don't feel like I have a clue what I am doing on this program and the things I do are sub-par at best.  Being on a PC I find it VERY difficult to "draw" pictures on the Manga Studio program (I have NO idea how these guys in the tutorials do it), and when I try to upload pictures I have imaged onto the computer to use in Mang

Oh, my goodness.  It feels so GOOOOD to be drawing and painting again.  I have not done so in years.  I have been a member of deviant art for a LONG time, but I am just now finally finding the courage to actually post my works.  I am recently coming out of a very horrible, messy, painful divorce.  I have felt like I was in a horrible fog and who I was and what I loved doing had started to dissapear through this bad relationship I had been in.  But, enough of my sob story.  I am out of it, and I am back to doing what I love. I will apologize in advance though.  I am a single mom of two little boys both under the age of five, so my "free-time"
